Tarifa – also known as the Capital City of wind – is located on the southern tip of Spain. It provides a bay with white sand, with a length of 11 kilometres and 300 days of consistent wind. During the summer months the “Levante” blows from the east and in autumn and spring the second big wind – the Poniente – can be experienced. The weather in Tarifa usually stays mild and warm all year and because of this, the best conditions for an amazing windsports experience are guaranteed.
In the city centre you can find many shops and also restaurants and bars to relax in. In the town’s historic centre you can visit many old and beautiful buildings with an interesting history. It has also amazing festivals and so called white villages to offer which can be described as little fascinating towns with many white washed houses.
Another reason for taking a trip to Tarifa is its central location in relation to other amazing cities like Seveilla, Cadiz and Rhonda, all within easy reach. Lastly, Tarifa is also known for its great nightlife so if you want a night out after a great day on the water, Tarifa has something for everyone.
Our long established kite school is the most suitable place to learn how to kitesurf and to improve your kiting skills, because it is located on the main kiting beach in Tarifa and has many different kiting courses to offer. We offer beginner courses with an unlimited hours of kitesurf lessons and also courses for advanced kitesurfers who would like to improve their skills. The kite school is run by a team of international instructors who have lots of experience in both teaching and kitesurfing themselves. Because of this, you will meet a passionate team who will help you to progress your kiting on every level.
